interior design and color consulting

My style is a combination of modern and classic with a bit of Hollywood Glam thrown in for fun. I’m inspired by multiple design styles, and am particularly fond of vintage French furnishings and modern design. I love to mix flea market finds with modern treasures creating contrasts in style that are unique and elegant.

The use of color can transform a space – it’s one of the most powerful design tools and can set the stage for all of your furnishings. Color, whether it is spicy hot or icy cool, can create a rich gem-like feel casting fabulous boldness or soft, peaceful serenity.

Interiors should be of a special balance and there are many ways to transform a mundane space into a fabulous one with the right selections.

I have a deep connection with the outdoors and look to nature for color and textural inspiration. I love old books and find comfort in an old chair with a previous life.

I believe in the careful use of our natural resources and I always pledge to do my part as a designer to build awareness and work to create responsible and sustainable design wherever I can.

I’m a member of the Ecology Center in Berkeley, CA, The US Green Building Council, The Designer's Accord, and Build-it-Green, an organization that promotes healthy, energy and resource-efficient buildings.
